Mabel had her 2 month drs appointment this afternoon. This photo is from her post-appointment well-deserved nap. She weighed in at 9 lbs. 6 oz. putting her in the 29th percentile!! We've come a long way, baby (she started in the 1st percentile). She is 22" long/57th percentile in length.
The doctor recommended a few remedies for her red cheeks which we started tonight. Dr. Albert also noticed that Mabel always has her head turned to her right. It has given her a very small flat spot on the right side of her head. I can't even see it, but she definitely always looks that way. Dr. Albert recommended more tummy time and also gave us a referral for physical therapy. Mabel is determined to get what she's got coming from our insurance company.
Finally - the SHOTS!!! She did great!! Just about 20 seconds of crying while the injections were happening and that was it. Now we just have to make sure she continues to do well for the next few days. Then we're free from drs. until Sept.

Mabel looks like her daddy there -- sleeping on the couch w/ arms above her head. Hope the Dr gave Mabel the O.K. to start using Mylicon. ;-)
The dr did say Mylicon was fine. She also recommended the Tylenol post shots, just like Auntie Meagan did. Why are we paying a pediatrician. We could just be going to Dr. Meagan!
